Fishing and aquaculture in India has a long history. Fishing in India is a major industry in its coastal states, employing over 14 million people. India is a major supplier of fish in the world.

India is also an important country that produces fish through aquaculture in the world. India is home to more than 10 percent of the global fish diversity. Presently, the country ranks second in the world in total fish production with an annual fish production of about 9.06 million metric tonnes.

With advancement made in science and technologies it is easier than ever to monitor the scalability of fishes in various stages before it reaches the final consumers.

IFORA in a joint effort with experts and professors in “Aquaculture” bring you the following training programs in-theory and in-action for a productive "Fresh Water Fish Farming" business.

The entire training program will comprise of both theoretical and practical farm on-site training.

Course Duration:

- pond treatment before breeding and after harvest
